Today I give you not one but two monthly playlists, and it’s definitely because I wanted to save up for double the music right before the summer and not because I was too overwhelmed by the end-of-the-year madness to get my March playlist in on time. Anyway.

In March I listened to music that put me in that spring break spirit, the kind of stuff that’s best enjoyed in a car with the windows down and not a care in the world. I discovered a lot of bands that I loved, like Mild High Club, The Walters and TV Girl. April passed by in a flurry of exam reviews and late nights, so it’s got a pretty short and sweet playlist dominated by artists like Rex Orange County and Janelle Monáe (her new album is a masterpiece).
